The cycle of life
Seasons are caused by Earth’s tilted axis as it orbits around the Sun.
Earth spins on an axis that is permanently tilted at an angle of 23.5 degrees. As Earth travels around the Sun, this tilt always points in the exact same direction in space.
Because of that, different parts of the planet receive different amounts of direct sunlight at different times of the year:

Summer: When a hemisphere (North or South) is tilted toward the Sun, it experiences summer. The sun’s rays hit that part of Earth directly at a steep angle, concentrating the heat. The days also become longer, allowing the ground more time to warm up.

Winter: Six months later, when that same hemisphere is tilted away from the Sun, it experiences winter. The sunlight hits the surface at a shallow angle, spreading the same amount of solar energy over a much larger area, which lowers the temperature. The days also become shorter.
Because of this geometric tilt, the Northern and Southern Hemispheres always experience opposite seasons:
- When it is June, the Northern Hemisphere is tilted toward the Sun (Summer), while the Southern Hemisphere is tilted away (Winter).
- When it is December, the situation reverses completely.
Wolf pups are almost bornt in the spring (De lobos y hombres (C. Gómez López, 2014), Lobo ibérico).
Kids are weak and need protection. Teenagers are independent and stubborn, and mature people .
Good relationships can save lives.
